CLGC 2007

The Commonwealth Local Government Conference 2007 was held at the Aotea Centre, Auckland, New Zealand from 26-29 March 2007. Speakers included Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Director of The Earth Institute, Columbia University, USA, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of Uganda, Rt Hon Helen Clark, Prime Minister of New Zealand and Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage and Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar, Minister of Panchayati Raj, Youth Affairs and Sports, India.

CLGC 2005

The third Commonwealth Local Government Conference took place in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK from 15-17 March 2005 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, speakers included Desmond Tutu, Dr Anna K Tibaijuka, UN Under Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Habitat, Mayor Cllr Robert Montague, Association of Local Government Authorities of Jamaica and Koos Richelle, Director-General of DG Development at the European Commission.
